Leap of Faith

Let's face it, buying any home takes a giant leap of faith. NOW, imagine trying to choose your home based on pictures, words, and drawings of the floorplan- what we are asking is difficult! Sure, lots of people have done it. But if you haven't built a home before it can be a scary feeling. It is much easier to walk through an existing home to "feel" how it will live. So people shy away from building.

Making the decision to start from scratch is brave- and we understand this.

But there is no better feeling then watching your home being constructed from the ground up. You will find yourself driving by after work each day to see what has been accomplished in the past 24 hours. You will bring family and friends to watch your house being built and explain the process to them as if you were hammering the nails yourself. Imagine standing amongst a few framed walls with no roof overhead- envisioning where furniture will go and marveling at how fast it feels more like a home, and less like a construction site.

We will provide as much information as possible to make you feel good about building a home with us. Pictures, measurements, color samples, builder meetings- whatever you need to help you envision it without actually seeing it.

It is a bold move and you should be proud for even considering it.

Can you guess what homebuyers want now?

Impact Design Build

Impact Design—Build, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Colen Davidson. Since then, Colen has established his company as an innovative leader in custom home building. From townhome to estate home, the team at Impact prides itself in building many of the Triangle's most distinctive residences. Impact Design built 11 Energy Star Homes in 2009 and all the homes at Whitney Village will be Energy Star certified.

Energy Star

Energy Star homes are wonderful! But the crazy thing is, no matter how much you learn about the benefits of having a home certified by Energy Star you won't care. UNTIL you move in and get your first energy bill and it is 20-30% lower than normal. And you realize your home feels cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, without your system sounding like a wheezing fat kid. It is one of life's aha moments that you simply have to experience.

Womble Park

Just around the corner...

The Town purchased this 46-acre site in 1997. The park is in the second phase of the construction process. Facilities currently include four lighted baseball / softball fields, a multi-purpose field, soccer fields, horseshoes pits, a volleyball court and a multi-purpose playground. See amenities and rental fees.

Restrooms, a concession area and a scorer's tower are also on the park grounds. A picnic shelter and an outdoor stage hosts a variety of cultural and musical events throughout the year.

The Chadwick

The Chadwick is the largest of the four homes with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. With a loft upstairs and an oversized breakfast nook instead of a formal dining room, this is a very flexible floorplan. (Because let's be honest...how often do we use our "formal" dining room?) The owner of this home will enjoy spacious bedrooms and a nice big kitchen, too!

The Cedarbrook

The Cedarbrook is a ranch home with 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. This home will have a 2 car garage and sits on almost a 1/3 of an acre. It is what some call a "split bedroom" plan- meaning the master bedroom is on one side of the house and the other bedrooms are on the opposite side- providing a little privacy. It also has a large covered patio in the back which is perfect for enjoying cool evenings outside.
